It's been a long time since I last joined a workshop, for a few reasons, but mostly because from the end of last year to the beginning of this year, there were few indoor events :)) (plenty of outdoor ones though hahaaa)
Actually, there were a few at the beginning of this year but I couldn't sign up in time, and company events are always super super hot because every single one is top quality... praising it repeatedly feels redundant but it is what it is. The proof is that after going out and having fun, I even got some spoils of war: workshop products and souvenir photos... Enough talking.. let's get into it.
First is the prelude.

Where there is food, there are drinks, a lot of drinks to be precise :D
I sat there and couldn't read this text, but now looking at the picture I can, it was too far away :))

This workshop is about making light 💡 bulbs. Specifically, making the light bulb base, since the light bulbs are already provided :法. The base is made from "Jesmonite" material as shown, and the shop hosting this workshop is "Tiem Nua Thuoc" --
The "shop" has been doing some heavy SEO, so if you search for Jesmonite, it pops up as the very first result :)
From what I've heard, this material sets faster and is safer than other common materials (plaster?), looks like cement but once you dissolve it in water and leave it for a bit, it hardens up nicely.

50 slots but probably around 80 registrations.. it seems this Jesmonite material is quite expensive so they couldn't extend more slots
Btw, if only I had a... 28-70mm f2.8 lens (or double the price 24-70 f2.8) so I'd be more into photography :D

The color formula chart to mix, after struggling for a while, the workshop assistant told me this color was already available and didn't need mixing 🥲🥹

Ok, so first we have the colors, mix them, then blend it with Jesmonite liquid, stir well, and quickly pour it into the mold otherwise it thickens up.

This one looks quite pretty, looking back at mine it looks a bit ugly, so allow me not to post it...

Ms. Huong worked on it for a while and the final product turned out beautiful

As for me, I just looked at my product in helplessness..

Once finished, we had proper packaging to wrap things up and take home :D

It looks beautiful but if I keep turning it on, "my electricity bill this month will be 200... dollars."

This is the company's side

Many thanks to Ms. Ngoc, Ms. Y (the event hosts), the "tiem nua thuoc" team, Ms. Huong, and Mr. Hoa 📸 for creating an incredibly wholesome and meaningful workshop session :D
